I really like this handout, which has 7 tips in parent-friendly language about how you can change the way your talk to children who stutter to support their fluency.

This is from a newly-established blog by the parents of a child who was just diagnosed with apraxia of speech. I love their idea! They are taking a video of their son talking, saying about the same thing, every few months to track his progress in speech therapy. It's their way of keeping themselves, and their son, motivated to keep at what is going to be a long journey towards being able to understand their child. And what an amazing way to proudly look back at what has been accomplished!
